Bond No. 9 Madison Square Park ~ new fragrance

Called Madison Square Park (named after the President and principal author of the US Constitution) is at the junction where Fifth Avenue and Broadway momentarily converge as they head to downtown, only to be separated by the bow of the Flatiron Building on 23rd Street. In the 19th century, as the opulent Gilded Age got underway, the surrounding streets grows lush and residential. Luxurious hotels grand Beaux Arts and Rococo style and the retail store has arisen. This was territory Theodore Roosevelt and Edith Wharton. Herman Melville wrote Billy Budd on East 26th Street. The grid of the streets around Madison Square Park became hotspot in Manhattan. Fast forward to 2011, and even today once, it is the place to be.

In 2004, the Park and its environs awakened. This was the year when that covered gourmet of Ivy snack bar, Shake Shack, opened in the middle of the greenery of the Park, attracting huge crowds. Other restaurants have followed, the most recent of them being the hall of mega-Italian cuisine Eataly, located directly across the street. And in the vicinity: Nuela (a high Nuevo Latino cevicheria) and John Dory Oyster Bar. What more, elegant hotels have re-emerged - the ultra-trendy of Ace, the Eventi hotel, nomadic, the MAve, the Carlton and Roger Williams. Once more, it is a local chic.

Naturally, we Bond No. 9 should give to this lively neighbourhood its own sparkling water of perfume. So for April 15, we are delighted to introduce the bond No. 9 Madison Square Park, a mixture of arrest, St romantic florals and crunchy green. From spring topnotes - intoxicating, musk-like Muscari paired pungent huckleberry and grass gently spicy Prairie dropseed - concatenation smell soon a heart of voluptuous sheet pink red, travelling with his sidekick, red tulips Hunter. And for its final, these florals lush and dynamic finally give way to the root of teak and vetiver calmer, deeper, darker.
